Even though most planetary systems around the Sun are billions of years old, their key properties (and their potential for hosting life) have been set in the first twenty million years of their formation.
The key questions behind most of my planet formation research is simple: How and why does planet formation differ around very low-mass stars and sunlike stars?
This broad question has many facets and in different, focused projects we studied them separately.
